tHE fINEST wORKS oF eAN jOHNSON
Here you can find the greatest, most stupendously phenominal works of writing from the incredibly handsome and terrifically humble master wordsmith Ean Johnson.
poem anthology foreward
Some might find it strange of me to post the foreword to an anthology without the complete anthology. I personally thought that these few paragraphs were rather funny, and more reflective of my personality than the poems themselves.
Humanity, I hate you
This poem was inspired by E.E. Cummings' humanity I love you. We were given a series of pictures, and asked to write a poem mimicking his using them as inspiration. For whatever reason, I decided to try to find the bad in every picture, no matter how joyful it was.
Memories
The main challenge of writing this poem was trying to evoke the nature and feeling of a memory without using words like memory or remember.
ROTTEN ROSES
This is one of the short stories I've been working on. It's a sort of grim fantasy story about the apprentice to a monster hunter.
The Encyclopedia of Inside Jokes
